| This patch is a backport of Slash'EMs Autoconf compilation for NetHack.
It has been tested on Linux (tty), Mac OSX (tty) and on Windows XP (tty, mswin). Detailed compilation instructions for Linux and Windows are at the start of the patch resp. in README.configure in the patch. | Well, nobody forces you to use it. :-)
But as NetHack nowadays doesn't compile out of the box on any of the wide spread OS, I hope autoconf is an easier option for the Makefile illiterate.[Quote] | ||
