| Description | Wish for "the gnome's aklys". |
| The "wish" patch refactors the wishing code to allow the player to wish for "the gnome's aklys", or "20 of Bob's arrows", and get them. In other words, you can wish for things out of your opponent's inventory, and then you'll have the thing and your opponent won't.
When combined with the "Brad's Pit" patch, wizard-mode players can wish for "Brad's pit" in addition to regular pits. | |

| Hmmm... if this works as advertised this could be quite awesome, not too useful maybe but still....
But wow, I mean, can it be used to snatch quest items away from their bearers? Can you wish for an item elsewhere on the current level too? (If not, why not?) This is a huge can of worms, yes, but I'm oddly pleased with the idea. Nethack's design has been driven by opening such cans at judicious times. Maybe this is one of them.[Quote] | ||
